I work alot, so my hands get dry. I have trouble finding the right lotions. The perfect one. So I came across a recipe that I would like to share. You will need 16 ounces of California Baby or Johnson's Baby lotion, 8 ounces of vitamin E cream, and 8 ounces of organic, virgin coconut oil. You will need a hand-held or stand-up mixer to mix all ingredients until creamy smooth. Store in Mason jars. You can add your choice of essential oil if you like a light fragrance. Over the weekend, I had to work. I did enjoy a short vacation. We were very, very busy booking reservations for families and couples who want to enjoy Schlitterbahn's Water Park for the summer, horseback riding at the Agricultural Hall of Fame, that is not too far away in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Us girls, Tamara, Kayla, Karina, and Ashley decided we needed to do some shopping. I most of all needed a new purse. I am picky so the bags cannot be too small, nor too large. My bags must be quality made and expensive. Kayla mentioned that the Coach Boutique at the Legend's Outlet Mall was having a 50% off for the week, so we went there after work. I like to share my gifts with my followers and those who read my blogs. I will send you a free bottle of Coach perfume (ladies only) if you like. We bought bags and Coach fragrances. We had a nice time together. We enjoyed lunch at Five Guys burgers and fries and it was sooo good. Let me know your thoughts of where you plan to vacation this summer. I am thinking about the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. I just love water, and geothermal pools.

Going on vacation to writer's retreat.....

I work hard six days a week, part time as a travel agent and consultant, then as a retail merchandiser for Sephora Corporation. I am between Los Angeles and New York during the months. Yes, I like to write and blog. My life is always full of drama. Drama comes to me, because people are jealous of me-just joking. I am taking a most needed vacation at a writer's retreat somewhere near the waterfalls of Maui. I am taking along some of my favorite things. A laptop to blog, and come up with new story ideas. Of course I will need my Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog earphones to listen to Koop, and other jazz musicians. I love spending time on the beach watching people surf the waves, so I will need to take along some good sunscreen like Shiseido's oil sunscreen, I love it. It makes my skin radiant and smell so luxurious. I don't know if it does it for me-but it certainly does it for me.

The Tenant of Hotel California

A true story based in San Diego, California. A good looking Marine deserts his wife to the ugly streets of downtown San Diego. All kinds of riff raff, low-life, and what not emerge to the surface to take his lovely wife's innocence. Soon to be released to Amazon.com. Books A Million, and Barnes & Noble.

Here is a small taste of what's to come.
The characters:

1. Elaine Jarboe, a ruthless real estate agent who has a blind eye and manages Hotel California.
2. Lori Prick, she is a prick in the true sense of the word. She is insecure, hooked on crack, and is paranoid that everyone wants her looser boyfriend. Hood Rat describes Lori Prick.

3. Greg Fudd, is the handsome Marine, famous chef of Northern California who looses his mind to pussy and deserts his lovely wife in the murky, pigeon poop covered downtown San Diego.

4. Linda Hawkins, Greg Fudd's mother who is an LDS member with a secret love affair with Two Buck Chuck from Trader Joe's.

5. Ria Winters, an ex-con, who is very manipulative, hooked on crack, and can persuade anyone to do what she wants-except Kelly Garrett, Greg Fudd's wife.

6. Jeriann Hannagan, another ruthless, corrupt real estate agent who has a secret love affair with crack, and will do anything to protect her empire, Hotel California.

7. Remy Martin, a corrupt, shyster attorney that works for Hotel California. She and Jeriann are undercover lesbians, who get high together and will do anything to protect the empire.

8. Billy Ray Pasture, an ex-con blacker than night with the biggest lips known to man. Billy Ray flashes his smile and panties come off. He always gets what he wants-or else someone is fired or evicted.

9. Jacob Miller, a crooked judge who is past insane. For the right price, he will do anything for the empire.

10. Jane Lane, is Kelly's attorney. She is attractive, smart, and knows not to tread on dangerous ground. This does not protect Kelly.

11. Jill Miller, is the empire's security guard who always goes along with the crack heads, whether they are wrong or right.

12. Sam Spade, one of the neighbors at Hotel California with a soft spot for Kelly that gets him killed.

13. Kelly Garrett, Greg Fudd's hard working, smart, lovely wife.

14. Sister Tracy Crane, the director of the empire that gets caught embezzling funds.

A lady was walking on the beach and found a bottle with a genie in it. She opened the bottle and the Genie was set free. The Genie asked, “What is your greatest wish?” The lady replied, “I would love to travel to Hawaii from San Francisco by highway, since I am afraid to fly”. “Please build me a highway that leads all the way to Hawaii”.  The Genie replied, “I am afraid that wish would take forever to fulfill, not to mention the fact that many lives would be lost and many injuries sustained”.  “I would be happy to grant any wish but that one”, said the Genie.

“All right”, said the lady, “I have always wanted to know the minds of men, and understand why they do what they do”.

Neighbor's cause garbage nightmare

In my new condominium complex, 95% of the neighbors do not know how to keep a clean house, and refuse to take out the garbage. It causes us to have fumigation every two weeks. Many neighbors come out onto their balconies in their pajamas and throw bags of garbage over onto the sidewalk below. How disgusting! We have two garbage dumpsters on the property, most people just walk up to it and place their garbage in front of the dumpster instead of putting it directly in.

Let me speak of the laundry room. Most of the tenants leave their clothes in the dryers for weeks at a time, and dare you, just dare you to remove them so you can have the convenience of an on-site laundry room. The floors are never swept or mopped. Many neighbors put their personal trash in the laundry room and let it pile up to the ceiling.

I have not found the perfect spot to live yet, but I will. I am working on it as we speak.

I ran across a poem today that I missed in elementary school as well as my neighbors. The title, Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout ( Would not take the garbage out!) The poem is written by Shel Silverstein.

Would not take the garbage out!
She's scour the pots and scrape the pans,
Candy the yams and spice the hams,
And though her daddy would scream and shout,
She simply would not take the garbage out.
And so it piled up to the ceilings:
Coffee grounds, potato peelings,
Brown bananas, rotten peas,
Chunks of sour cottage cheese.
It filled the can, it covered the floor,
It cracked the window and blocked the door
With bacon rinds and chicken bones,
Drippy ends of ice cream cones,
Prune pits, peach pits, orange peel,
Gloppy glumps of cold oatmeal,
Pizza crust and withered greens,
Soggy beans and tangerines,
Crusts of black burned buttered toast,
Grisly bits of beefy roasts....
The garbage rolled on down the hall,
It raised the roof, it broke the wall....
Greasy napkins, cookie crumbs,
Globs of gooey bubble gum,
Cellophane from green baloney,
Rubbery blubbery macaroni,
Peanut butter, caked and dry,
Curdled milk and crusts of pie,
Moldy melons, dried up mustard,
Eggshells mixed with lemon custurd,
Cold french fries and rancid meat,
Yellow lumps of Cream of Wheat,
At last the garbage reached so high
That finally it touched the sky.
And all the neighbors moved away,
And none of her friends would come to play.
And finally Sarah Cynthia Stout said,
"Ok, I'll take the garbage out!"
But then, of course, it was too late....

The garbage reached across the state,
From New York to the Golden Gate.
And there, in the garbage she did hate,
Poor Sarah met an awful fate,
That I cannot right now relate
Because the hour is much too late.
But children, remember Sarah Stout
And always, take the garbage out!
